Rich Brewer
Managing Partner – Private Equity
Rich Brewer is Managing Partner – Private Equity at Strategic Wealth Advisors, where he works with successful individuals, families, and business owners on complex financial decisions, liquidity events, and long-term wealth strategies. His perspective is shaped by firsthand experience as a business owner who successfully navigated a private equity transaction, giving him a unique understanding of the financial and personal considerations that accompany the sale or transition of a privately held business.
Rich works closely with clients and their existing attorneys, tax professionals, and other advisors to coordinate investment, tax, estate, and business planning strategies. His experience with the private equity due-diligence and transaction process is particularly valuable when helping business owners evaluate opportunities, prepare for liquidity events, and determine how the proceeds from a transaction fit into their broader financial and legacy objectives.
Rich earned a B.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Marshall University and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Charleston. He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, 65, and 26 securities licenses, along with Life and Long-Term Care licenses.
Outside of work, Rich and his wife, Analuisa, split their time between Miami, Florida, and Raleigh, North Carolina. Together, they enjoy spending time with their five adult children and grandchild, supporting a variety of charitable causes, and pursuing their shared passion for travel.
